PRACTICAL AYURVEDA

for Busy Women

MY STORY

Soul Equilibrium was created from a deeply personal need to restore my health and balance while navigating the complexities and demands of motherhood. When I became a mother, my postpartum experiences deeply impacted my sense of self, making me feel disconnected from my body in ways I had never anticipated. The physical and emotional challenges I faced during this time made it increasingly clear to me that my overall health was, unfortunately, declining. Exploring Ayurveda gave me helpful insights into my ongoing chronic health issues. The profound journey of holistic healing with Ayurveda not only improved my overall vitality but also ignited a passionate desire within me to help women uncover their own unique paths to wellness and equilibrium.

As a certified Ayurvedic health counselor, I offer compassionate guidance for women who are ready to let go of what no longer serves them, making space for a natural reset with personalized, sustainable food and lifestyle practices that align with their body type, current state of imbalance, and health goals. My mission is to support, educate, and advise clients on using Ayurveda to enhance their quality of life and extend healthspan.

AYURVEDA for Your Quest to Wellness

Ayurveda, a preventive health system originating from India more than 5,000 years ago, focuses on improving quality of life and extending healthspan with nourishing holistic food and practices for your body, mind, senses and soul. While Western medicine focuses on diagnosing and treating illnesses, Ayurveda aims to determine the root cause of disease and prevent them. In today’s modern society, we are challenged daily to shift out of our equilibrium by adapting to the elements within our internal system and external environment. With a better understanding of our unique constitution through Ayurveda’s practical health principles, we can develop deeper self-awareness and make more informed choices that align with our personal needs for optimal health.

By identifying and addressing common root causes of disease listed below, we can enhance our well-being and prevent existing health problems from worsening by examining the following:

  1. Dietary Choices: A lack of food variety, poor food combinations, and overconsumption of ultra-processed foods can all contribute to significant imbalances within the body over time. Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of choosing fresh and locally sourced foods that are well-suited to your constitution in order to maintain harmony and balance throughout your system.

  2. Sleep Patterns: Insufficient or poor-quality sleep can disrupt the body’s natural rhythms, leading to fatigue and compromised immunity. Establishing a regular bedtime routine is vital for restoring energy and maintaining overall health.

  3. Physical Activity: A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to a range of health issues, including obesity and cardiovascular diseases. Ayurveda advocates for personalized exercise regimens for each individual’s unique constitution, promoting vitality and stability.

  4. Stress and Emotional Factors: Chronic stress and unresolved emotions can have adverse effects on long-term physical health. Ayurveda recognizes the connection between body and mind, encouraging practices such as breathwork and meditation to promote mental clarity, focus, and peace of mind.

  5. Environmental Factors: Exposure to pollutants, toxins, and imbalanced living conditions can adversely affect health. Ayurveda encourages creating a balanced environment to the best of your ability, one that supports well-being through natural elements and holistic remedies.

Learn and Work With Me

I advise clients to continuously consult their primary healthcare physician for any medical advice or concerns regarding their health. This collaboration is essential in ensuring an integrative approach to their well-being. My role is to be a counselor, educator, and a supportive coach when it comes to helping clients achieve their personal health goals holistically. Part of the work involves applying gentle Ayurvedic practices into daily and seasonal routines. Since Ayurveda is not a one-size-fits-all approach for healing, each client’s comprehensive health protocol will be customized for their unique body type and current imbalances. I suggest follow-up meetings after the first consultation to update the client’s plan as their health goals and needs evolve.

Ayurveda emphasizes a gradual approach to healing, rather than quick fixes that merely conceal the underlying problem. I can assist you in addressing a wide range of imbalances listed below, to help you achieve long-term health. Please be advised that you do not need to be working with this list to meet with me. Having a health consultation with me can be beneficial, even without specific health concerns.

My role as an Ayurvedic health counselor is to work with you on developing sustainable practices that resonate with your personal needs. Together, we can prevent potential health issues, alleviate existing conditions, and enhance your quality of life.
